William Bodwell Oil Painting of Sailing Ships

This is a charming and well done painting by William P. Bodwell, founding member of the Provincetown Artist Colony. Signed in the lower left with a dedication on the back and is dated 1938. Bodwell died in 1940 at the age of 88, I believe the painting was done in the 1920's. The image size is 7 3/8" x 5 3/8"
