Fiji Mermaid

This is a fine example of a Fiji Mermaid as she has very good detailing and proportion. Traditionally, these mermaids were sideshow attractions, shown as mummified creatures that were half mammal and half fish. The mermaid had the skulls of monkeys and the tails of fish that were then covered with papier mache.
