This is a well executed bronze by G. Gilberti. It was given to Arch Ward by the Italian chapter of Golden Gloves in "Friendship and Appreciation". Arch Ward founded the International Golden Gloves as well as the Baseball All Star Game and the College Football All Star Game. He was Sports Editor of the Chicago Tribune in 1930.
